At the northwest corner of Guangrao town, there is an old Chinese traditional style building made of brick and timber .This is just the Great Palace of Southern Song Dynasty which has beeng embodied in the book,《China Showplace》. With a height of 10.39 meters,framed mainly with six oak poles,

four pestle eaves, three center columns and a vault with five refined layers.This style is similar to those buildings of Southern Song Dynasty. It is the only earliest timberwork building in Shandong province, and it provides the rarity practicality information about timberwork buildings in the Tang and Song Dynasties . It is sapiential rime of Chinese labors.
