Tombs of Eight Han Doctors are located to the southwest of Guangrao town, six to the east of Zhongtou village and two to the north of Xiaozhang village. It is said that eight gengerations of Han Dynasty from Ouyang shengg to Ouyang she had transmitted and consummated Shang Shu. The places they were buried were named Tombs of Eight Han Doctors.
Ouyang shengg, one of the eight doctors, also named Bohe, was born in Qianchengg county (now called Guangrao). He continued the work of Fushengg, the initiator of Shang Shu, and devoted all his life to studying the syntax and the art of the works. He was appraised doctor for his familiarity in Shang Shu. The famous disciple of Ouyang shengg is his townee,Ni kuan who was well known for being familiar with Shang Shu. He imparted Shang Shu to the son of Ouyang shengg who theng imparted it to the son of his own, the rest can be deduced by analogy, and Ouyang she is the eighth gengeration. It came through more than 10 emperors of Front- and Fore-han Dynasties and lasted for nearly 200 years.As a result, Shang Shu was predominant for a lasting time and was esteemed the great master or the ancestor of books. So many scholars were attracted here to look with reverengce, and many descengdants of Ouyang thousands of miles away came here to seek their ancestor.
