New Century Square of Dongying
started to be constructed in March, 1998, and was completed at 28, September,1998. New Century Square covers a total area of 170,000 square meters, including one center square and four buildings, which are Municipal People¡¯s Government Working Building, Municipal Procurator, Municipal Court, and New Century Gate |
The square designed by Beijing Zhongfang Group is civility and in good taste, whose basic tone is shallow color. The whole square is harmony and unitive. The Municipal People¡¯s Government Working Building is facing south with a height of 73.3 meters. There are 19 floors in total and 2 floors are under the earth . The main building is soar and
royalty, and the assistant buildings crowd around it slightly, expressing welcome to everyone. The Municipal Procurator and Municipal Court are located on the east and west of the center square separately, with a center height of 35.2 meters, which looks like the Chinese characters ¡°É½¡°. The two buildings look like hills from all around the buildings, which implies that the law should be executed firmly. The new century gate is located to the south of square, which is 16 meters high with a width of 40 meters. The new century gate can be used as not only the screen of municipal building, but also as a spot of ShengLI road.
